The Brownlow Riddell Trophy

This prestigious trophy has the following engraved:

"1925 Glasgow Eye Infirmary Golf Trophy

      Presented by Brownlow Riddell"

Gifted by the Glasgow Eye Infirmary to the Scottish Ophthalmologists Golfing Society in August 1988.

- This inaugural SOGS meeting was held at the Dalmahoy Golf Club, near Edinburgh. Eleven members contested this first competition, with the trophy being awarded to B Cullen.

This stunning silver trophy is awarded to the winner of the morning 18-hole contest: a stroke-play (best Stableford score) competition.
